First create a conveyor frame using weldments.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li>Open the created part and select Weld Bead from the weldments section. The weld bead dialogue box appears in the property manager tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18076 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/sole1.jpg\" alt=\"Adding Weld Beads in SOLIDWORKS\" width=\"800\" height=\"612\" data-id=\"18076\" \/><\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li>The weld selections can be done in two ways\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 30px; margin-top: 10px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li><strong>Weld Geometry:<\/strong> In this option select the faces to be weld. First select the face to weld from and then select the face to weld to. Then specify the diameter of the weld. Three options are available for selecting both sides, all around and only for the selection. If tangent propagation is enabled then all the edges tangent to the faces selected will be welded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In this example tangent propagation and selection is selected<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18076 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/sole2.jpg\" alt=\"tangent propagation and selection is selected\" width=\"800\" height=\"612\" data-id=\"18076\" \/><\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 30px; margin-top: 10px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li><strong>Weld Path:<\/strong> In this option the edges to be weld are selected and then the diameter of weld is specified. Different weld symbols can be used as well as the groove angle of weld and other parameters can be set.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18076 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/sole4.jpg\" alt=\"Define weld symbols\" width=\"509\" height=\"657\" data-id=\"18076\" \/><\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"margin-left: 23px; font-size: 15px; color: #000;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 28px;\">\n<li><strong>From \/ To Length:<\/strong> The length of the weld bead can be specified in this option by giving the start point of the weld and the weld length.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intermittent Weld:<\/strong> In this option intermittent welds can be created (patterned or staggered).
