(Available if a tab template does not yet exist for the active document type.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/3.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<h5>Understanding the Elements<\/h5>\n<ul style=\"list-style: none; font-size: 16px; color: #000; margin-bottom: 23px;\">\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Groupbox :<\/strong> The Groupbox is essentially a container that allows you to group the other items. For example, you can place part information such as Part Numbers, Article Numbers, and Descriptions into a Groupbox and material information like Material, Finish, and Weight into another Groupbox. Each Groupbox can have a name.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Textbox :<\/strong> This item accepts free-form text and stores it as an associated property.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">List :<\/strong> List boxes present users with a list of predefined values that once selected will be stored as a property.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Number :<\/strong> A number box accepts only numeric inputs to store as a property.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Checkbox :<\/strong> With a checkbox you can have the user select between two predefined values to place as a property.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Radio :<\/strong> Radio buttons allow you to define a selection of up to three predefined values that can be used to show or hide elements in the dialog. As an example, you might want different text boxes to show based on the selected radio button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FILE TYPES<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/4.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">There are four file types you can save; .PRTPRP for PARTS, .ASMPRP for ASSEMBLIES, .DRWPRP for DRAWINGS, and .WLDPRP for WELDMENT PARTS. The type of dialog is selected by changing the TYPE in the Control Attributes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/5.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 20px; color: #000; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 20px;\">\n<li>Now just pick and drop Textbox option into the Groupbox(Part Information)<\/li>\n<li>From the customer property Attributes change the name as part no and TYPE as Text.<\/li>\n<li>Select the configuration as show on custom add or if you want to reflect on custom configured part then select the rather.<\/li>\n<li>We can link to default Solidworks properties such as Materials and Mass etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/6.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>SOLIDWORKS Custom Property Tab Builder Advanced<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">Now create another Groupbox(Document Management ). Drag and drop the list option and rename as checked by in the value option feed in the name of engineers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/7.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">Check box is used for whether to check the part is purchased or not.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17444\" src=\"https:\/\/ckonnect.in\/solidworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/8.jpg\" alt=\"blog-new-1-img\" width=\"100%\" data-id=\"17444\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">The vendor listing can be generated by linking the information of vendor by excel format.
