Earlier, from the customer request, Dassault Systemes SolidWorks added the option of circular profile to make sweep feature easy by only one sketch for full path. But still if the profile is other than circle, it needs extra sketch to be done or else to perform it in a better way is to convert from the existing face or edges.<\/p>\n<h2>Sweep command in SOLIDWORKS<\/h2>\n<p>The enhancement in the SOLIDWORKS Swept feature removes the convert entities from the existing face. In this case, swept boss is selected from toolbar. In the property manager, under the profile and path, sketch profile is selected.
